It is confident that even though our external or physical health is significant, there is a whole other galaxy of disorders and psychological effects internally, much in need of attention.
We know it as “Mental Health.”
Mental Health is of great significance, and if not treated, it can branch into multiple problems. A large mass expresses sorrow through suicide attempts, psychotic behaviors, episodes, and physical harm. Since their grief and depression are visible to others, they get treated with therapy, medication, etc. These patients seem to be one in a million. But what about all the other patients deprived of their rights to display their grief? Unfortunately, due to societal norms, he/she/they are forced to keep everything inside. These victims of mental injustice form an emotional weight, gradually reaching a limit of intolerance.
So in honor of “Mental Health Day,” a session is being consulted at Scholastica on October 13th and 14th. It is the most rational way to bring a topic as relevant as mental health to light. Our Principal, members of the student council, and leaders of the community service club will be participating in providing us with speeches. They will provide their views on mental health. The main aim of this session is to learn the essence of mental health. Students need to broaden their perspective on how to express one’s mental health doesn’t make them any less emotionally strong.
Mental health, if left untreated, can cause a change in one’s lifestyle in the worst possible way that there is. It can very much be why students produce mediocre results, lose emotional attachment to loved ones and end their lives with the guilt of not being better.
A piece of information received by us is that a few guests might also visit to express their views on mental health. Scholastica is keeping that unrevealed to build some level of excitement inside students.
Students vary from preteens to teenagers to adults, and
all of them will find a way to educate themselves through this session. After all, everyone has emotional baggage to deal with despite their physical age.
